CASD Honoring the Efforts of Development Partners Within Central/Middle Africa Region through it Project of Impact Award

In preparation for the upcoming Women Deliver 4th Global Conference in Copenhagen Denmark, and following our mandate to organize and lead the Central/Middle Africa Regional Advocacy Caucus,  the Cameroon Agenda  for Sustainable  Development  (CASD)  is recognizing and honoring  the efforts of development partners within Central/Middle Africa  for their work in enhancing adolescents’ health and wellbeing.


The Project of Impact Award celebrates  progress  made  by  development  partners  especially  civil  society organization  in  fostering  the  health  and  wellbeing  of  adolescent  girls  via  advocacy and/or  service  delivery.  The  best  project  in  terms  of  innovation  and  impact  will  be awarded a non-restricted sum of $500.

What We Are Looking for

Innovation and impact:  We are looking for projects that apply new ways of enhancing the health and  wellbeing  of adolescent girls.  This may  be an advocacy project that led to increased investment in adolescent health,  a facts finding project that  disaggregated data to give more visibility to adolescent health and wellbeing, provision of services that has improved the health and  wellbeing  of adolescents, etc.Such a project must have had a minimum one year implementation  with proven success, and was implemented between 2012 –Present.

Scalable  Solutions:  Solutions  that  are  sustainable,  can  be  replicated,  and  can  effect large-scale change in Country are highly favored.

How the Award Works

Submissions  will  be  accepted  from  the  1st of  April  2016  and  will  close  on  the  8th of May 2016. The Winner will be  announced on the 19th of May 2016, at the Central African Regional Caucus.

Who Can Apply?

1.)  Organizations with confirmed participants for the Central Africa Regional Caucus working  on  adolescent  health  and  well-beings.  If  you  have  not  yet  registered, please send a mail to CASD indicating interest and we will send you details of the caucus. 2.)  There might be only one submission per organization
